Équinoxe (political party)

[2] Described as inspired by Jean-Marc Jancovici's ideas, the party is centered around pro-nuclear environmentalism and eco-sufficiency.

In its campaign for the 2024 European Parliament election, the party also supported a regulation of immigration to Europe, combined with the creation of a climate refugee status.

[2] Despite the ideological similarity, the party claims to have no links to Jancovici, although some of its candidates in the 2024 European Parliament election were members of The Shift Project, a nonprofit co-founded by Jancovici.

[2] On 12 January 2025, during the partial legislative in Isère (first circonscription), it's candidate Gaëlle Offranc-Piret had collected 7.6% of the votes (~2225).

This was found to have been caused by an input error, with the party actually receiving 0.4% of votes in the city.
