An election to the Aberdeen Corporation was held on 2 May 1950, alongside municipal elections across Scotland.
12 of the corporation's 37 seats were up for election.
The election saw the Progressives regain one seat from Labour in the Gilcomston Ward and hold a one-seat majority on the council.
The overall turnout for the election was 39.4%.
