1972 Arizona Senate election

Voters elected members of the Arizona Senate in all 30 of the state's legislative districts to serve a two-year term.

Primary elections were held on September 12, 1972.

Following the election, Republicans maintained control of the chamber and their majority with 18 Republicans to 12 Democrats remained unchanged.
