The 1980 Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils football team represented Mississippi Valley State University as a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) during the 1980 NCAA Division I-AA football season.
Led by first-year head coach Archie Cooley, the Delta Devils compiled an overall record of 5–5, with a conference record of 3–3, and finished tied for third in the SWAC.
