1980 Texas Southern Tigers football team

The 1980 Texas Southern Tigers football team represented Texas Southern University as a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) during the 1980 NCAA Division I-AA football season.

Led by second-year head coach Jim Sorey, the Tigers compiled an overall record of 2–9, with a mark of 2–4 in conference play, and finished sixth in the SWAC.
