The 1985 San Diego State Aztecs football team represented San Diego State University as a member of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) during the 1985 NCAA Division I-A football season.
Led by Doug Scovil in his fifth and final year as head coach, the Aztecs compiled an overall record of 5–6–1 with a mark of 3–4–1 conference play, placing sixth in the WAC.
San Diego State played home games at Jack Murphy Stadium in San Diego.
