The 1987 Alcorn State Braves football team represented Alcorn State University as a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) during the 1987 NCAA Division I-AA football season.
Led by second-year head coach Theophilus Danzy, the Braves compiled an overall record of 6–3, with a conference record of 5–2, and finished tied for second in the SWAC.
