The 1991 East Tennessee State Buccaneers football team was an American football team that represented East Tennessee State University as a member of the Southern Conference (SoCon) during the 1991 NCAA Division I-AA football season.
Led by fourth-year head coach Don Riley, the Buccaneers compiled and overall record of 1–10, with a mark of 0–7 in conference play, and finished eighth in the SoCon.
On November 12, 1991, Riley announced his resignation as head coach of the Buccaneers, effective at the end of the season.
