1995 South American Championships in Athletics

The 1995 South American Championships in Athletics were held at the Vila Olímpica in Manaus, Brazil, between 26 and 28 May.

This was the first edition to feature women's 5000 metres (replacing 3000 metres), pole vault and hammer throw.

Guyana and Suriname competed for the first time at these Championships.

In addition, Angola and French Guiana participated as guests.
