The National Democratic Alliance won the most seats and Nabeen Pattanaik was appointed as the Chief Minister of Odisha.

Seats won by NDA = BJD + BJP = 69 + 38 = 107 (higher than 74 -- the magic number).
He appointed many MLAs from both BJP & BJD as ministers.
