He is a member of the Member of Odisha Legislative Assembly from Dhenkanal assembly constituency of Dhenkanal district.
On 12 June 2024, he took oath along with Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhitook oath in Janata Maidan, Bhubaneswar.
