The 2004 Charleston Southern Buccaneers football team represented Charleston Southern University as a member of the Big South Conference during the 2004 NCAA Division I-AA football season.
Led by second-year head coach Jay Mills, the Buccaneers compiled an overall record of 5–5 with a mark of 1–3 in conference play, finishing fourth place in the Big South.
