2004 Odisha Legislative Assembly election

The National Democratic Alliance won the most seats and Naveen Patnaik was re-appointed as the Chief Minister of Odisha.

[1][2] The number of constituencies was set as 147 by the recommendation of the Delimitation Commission of India.

[3] Again this time, BJD & BJP fought togetherly as NDA.

The CM Nabeen Pattanaik appointed several MLAs from both BJP & BJD as ministers.

The opposed alliance was UPA, which consisted of Congress, OGP, Communist.
