The 2012 New Mexico State Aggies football team represented New Mexico State University as a member of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) during the 2012 NCAA Division I FBS football season.
Led by DeWayne Walker in his fourth and final season as head coach, the Aggies compiled an overall record of 1–11 with a mark of 0–6 in conference play, placing last out of seven teams in the WAC.
With the WAC ceasing to support football in the 2013 season, New Mexico State became an FBS independent in 2013.
