The defending Grey Cup champion Toronto Argonauts had five picks and Ottawa chose four players from NCAA schools that would play another year.
[2] The Ottawa expansion team was scheduled to pick last in the first four rounds of the 2012 CFL Draft, with selections being limited to NCAA redshirt juniors.
