The 2013 Texas Rangers season was the Rangers' 53rd season of the franchise and the 42nd since the team relocated to Arlington, Texas.

The Rangers lost a season ending tie-breaking game against the Tampa Bay Rays on September 30, 2013, and were eliminated from playoff contention for the first time since 2009.
