2014 Liberty Flames football team

They were led by third-year head coach Turner Gill and played their home games at Williams Stadium.

They finished the season 9–4, 4–1 in Big South play to share the conference championship with Coastal Carolina.

[5] In their sixth game of the season, the Flames lost, 46–39, in double overtime, to the Richmond Spiders.

[6] In their seventh game of the season, the Flames won, 55–48, in overtime, over the Appalachian State Mountaineers.

[11] In their twelfth game of the season, the Flames won, 15–14, over the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers.
