The 2016–17 George Mason Patriots women's basketball team represented George Mason University during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I women's basketball season.

The Patriots, led by third year head coach Nyla Milleson, played their home games at EagleBank Arena and were members of the Atlantic 10 Conference.

They lost in the first round of the A-10 women's tournament to Duquesne.

Most home games will also be featured on the A-10 Digital Network.
