2016 FIBA Asia Under-18 Championship for Women

[1] China defeated Japan in the finals, 78–47, to notch their fourth straight title and 15th overall,[2] while South Korea edged Chinese Taipei in the battle for Third Place, 66–63.

China, Japan and South Korea will represent FIBA Asia at the 2017 FIBA Under-19 Women's Basketball World Cup, which will be held in Italy.
