The Knights, in the program's 43rd season of basketball, were led by fourth-year head coach Katie Abrahamson-Henderson, and play their home games at the CFE Arena on the university's main campus in Orlando, Florida.

In the 2020 American Athletic Conference women's basketball tournament at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut they reached the semi-final where they were ousted by the Cincinnati Bearcats 57-51.
