The 2019 Tampa Bay Rays season was the Rays' 22nd season of Major League Baseball, and the 12th as the "Rays" (all at Tropicana Field).
The Rays clinched a spot in the playoffs for the first time since 2013 and defeated the Oakland Athletics in the ALWC Game 5–1.
They then lost in the ALDS to the Houston Astros 3–2.
