Harry LaRosiliere John Muns The 2021 Plano municipal elections took place on May 1, 2021.

[1] No candidate received a majority of the total vote in Places 2 and 7, so the two top vote-earners advanced to a runoff election.

[4] John Muns won the open seat, defeating challengers Lily Bao and Lydia Ortega.

[10] Julie Holmer, Bill Lisle III, Chris Robertson, David M. Smith, and Sandeep Srivastava ran for the open seat.

[2] Holmer won the runoff, filling Bao's seat until her term expires in 2023.
