The 2022 Howard Bison football team represented Howard University as a member of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) during the 2022 NCAA Division I FCS football season.

Led by third-year head coach Larry Scott, the Bison compiled an overall record of 5–6 with a mark of 4–1 in conference play, sharing the MEAC title with North Carolina Central.

Howard played home games at William H. Greene Stadium in Washington, D.C.

They were champion of the MEAC for the first time since 1996, but they missed out on the Celebration Bowl in favor of NC Central.
