The 2024-25 season of the 1st Division is the 16th season since the establishment of the 1st Division as the second-tier of women's national league in Denmark and the 4th season with the current format of eight teams.

The following criteria are applied (in order from top to bottom) to determine the order of the teams in all rounds of the leagues:[1] If two teams are still tied after all the above criteria are applied, a play-off match, with extra time and penalty shoot-out, if necessary, is held at a neutral ground to determine the order.
