2024 Houston Dynamo FC season

2024 saw Houston make the playoffs for the second consecutive year after a 5th place finish in the Western Conference.

The Dynamo would fall in the first round of the playoffs to the Seattle Sounders 2 games to 0, losing both on penalties.

[1] On July 16, USMNT legend Tim Howard joined the Dynamo and Dash ownership group.

[2] The season was also notable for the signing of striker Ezequiel Ponce for a club record transfer fee from AEK Athens.
