2024 Indiana gubernatorial election

Republican Senator Mike Braun won his first term in office, defeating Democrat former state Superintendent of Public Instruction Jennifer McCormick.

He will succeed Republican incumbent Eric Holcomb, who was term-limited and could not seek a third consecutive term.

After winning the gubernatorial primary, Mike Braun endorsed state representative Julie McGuire to be his running mate,[48] but during the convention, delegates instead selected pastor Micah Beckwith in an upset.
