2024 Kabul bus bombing

On 11 August 2024, a bomb exploded on a minibus in Dashte Barchi, Kabul, Afghanistan.

The attack apparently targeted the country’s minority Shia Hazara community, that resides in the area where the bombing took place.

Islamic State – Khorasan Province claimed responsibility for the attack.
