The 2024 Nicholls Colonels football team represented Nicholls State University in the 2024 NCAA Division I FCS football season.

The Colonels played their home games at Manning Field at John L. Guidry Stadium in Thibodaux, Louisiana, and competed in the Southland Conference.

The Southland Conference released their preseason poll on July 22, 2024.

The Colonels were picked to finish first in the conference and received nine first-place votes.
