[5] On October 19, 2024, quarterback Tyler Knoop threw for six touchdowns in a 52–24 win over Towson, breaking the previous program single-game record of five.

[9] On November 9, 2024, Stony Brook beat Albany 24–6 in the Battle for the Golden Apple to win the trophy for the first time since 2021.
