[7] Dimitri Van den Bergh was the defending champion, having defeated Luke Humphries 11–10 in the 2024 final to win his first UK Open and second PDC major title.

In a change from last year, the amateur qualifiers were held in four 'PDC in the Community' events in Pencoed, Newport, Derbyshire and Plymouth.
