Lieutenant General Ajay Kumar Singh, PVSM, AVSM, SM, VSM is the former[1] Lieutenant Governor of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

[2] He is an alumnus of Sainik School Rewa and National Defence Academy.

He is former General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Southern Command of Indian Army.

[6] Singh left the Andaman and Nicobar Islands[7] after handing over charges on 19 August 2016.

Singh was appointed as independent director to Air Works.
