At Stanford, Polinsky is the founder and director of the John M. Olin Program in Law and Economics.
He is also a past president of the American Law and Economics Association.
[1] Polinsky joined the faculty of Harvard University in 1973 as an assistant professor of economics.
[2] In 1979, Polinsky joined the faculty of Stanford University and Stanford Law School, where was appointed the Josephine Scott Crocker Professor of Law and Economics in 1984.
