ATM 2000E

The mine uses an electronic microprocessor controlled fuze with magnetic, seismic and pressure sensors allowing it to discriminate between targets.

The mine is fitted with an anti-handling device, and can be command detonated.

It then fires the main warhead, which uses a metal liner to form a penetrating fragment which is projected into the belly of the vehicle passing over the mine.

The self-forging fragment is capable of penetrating steel up to 200 millimeters thick.

The mine is currently being produced by Dynamit Nobel Wien and is in service with the Austrian Army.
