A Girl Like That (novel)

The book was nominated for the 2019 Ontario Library Association White Pine Award.

[1][2] The book begins with a car crash and the death of the two main characters, Zarin and Porus, two fictional teenagers from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Their ghosts watch from the wreckage, and see the reactions of their families and friends.

The rest of the novel reveals the events that occurred before the car crash.
