A Sonication is the seventh studio album by the German technical death metal band Obscura.

The album was written and recorded in Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden, and produced by Fredrik Nordström.

[7] Music videos for the tracks "Evenfall", “Silver Linkngs”, and “In Solitude” have been released.

[8] Obscura embarked on a European tour in February 2025 with bands Rings of Saturn and Gorod.

[9] They have also planned a North American tour for April and May, with bands Atheist (celebrating the 35th anniversary of their debut album Piece of Time), Origin, Decrepit Birth, and Fractal Universe.
