A Wake in Providence is an American deathcore band formed in 2010 in Staten Island, NYC.

[2] The band currently consists of vocalist Adam Mercer, guitarist/vocalist D'Andre Tyre, guitarist Jordan Felion and drummer Jessie McEnneny.

[2] After they recruited guitarists Josh Freeman in 2011 and Tom Smith Jr. in 2012, they independently released two EPs titled Serpents (2012) and Insidious (2015).

On February 24th, 2017, the band announced that they are signing to Outerloop Records and released their first single with them titled "A Darkened Gospel".

Guitarist D’Andre Tyre states that the Insidious EP is what helped the band get bigger and they believe that want to really highlight it and give it a new flare.
