In 2021, Neubert was elevated to the college of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects for "notable contributions to the advancement of the profession of architecture."
Following his Van Alen Prize in Public Architecture awarded project Tidal Landscapes, in collaboration with the American architect Mike Jacobs, Neubert co-founded the influential, yet short-lived design studio orenj.
Neubert moved to Los Angeles, California in 2000 and became a professor at Cal Poly Pomona and Woodbury University.
Neubert is a California and Nevada licensed architect, NCARB certified, and a former member of the Board of Directors of the L.A. Forum for Architecture and Urban Design.
Examples of his work include the T-Street Headquarters, the Light Box Offices, the restaurant OZU, the Metric Hotel, and the Arroyo Oak House.
