Lohia holds key positions within philanthropic organizations, including as Chairperson of the SP Lohia Foundation[7] and Indorama Charitable Trust.

Since 2015, she has been the lead donor, supporting the building of the India Foundation for the Arts Archive,[8] The IFA Archive, based in Bangalore, India.

She also serves as the Trustee of The South London Gallery.
