Muhammad Abdul Ghani (born 7 January 1950) is an Indian politician and former jurist from West Bengal who has been serving as a member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly from Sujapur seat since 6 May 2021.
[1] A member of Trinamool Congress, he also served the same post from Jagatballavpur seat from 2016 until 2021.
Later he became a West Bengal Civil Service (Judicial) officer in January 1978 as a P.S.C.
[4] Ghani was elevated to the Bench in the High Court of Calcutta as permanent Judge on 24 June 2009.
[7] He became the chairman of the West Bengal Wakfs Board by the Madrasah Education ministry.
