Abdul Mannan Choudhury (born 1 January 1948) is a Bangladeshi academic, educationist and veteran of the liberation war of Bangladesh.

He completed his PhD from London, his MBA from Manchester Business School[3] and Master of Commerce from the Dhaka University.

[6] Choudhury served as the head of the department, academic dean and syndicate member at Bayero University in Nigeria.

On 12 April 2005, Dhaka University authority appointed Choudhury as a first chairman of Department of Management Information Systems (MIS).

Chowdhury's son, Dr Musfiq Mannan Choudhury, is a professor at the University of Dhaka and commissioner of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission.
