Abraham Andrews Barker (March 30, 1816 – March 18, 1898) served as a soldier during the American Civil War, and was a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Pennsylvania.
Barker also worked with Neal Dow in favor of the Maine law.
[2] During the American Civil War, he served in Company E, Fourth Regiment, Pennsylvania Emergency Troops.
From 1878 to 1882, Barker served as the president of the Pennsylvania Prohibition Party.
[2] He died in Altoona, Pennsylvania, while on a visit for medical treatment in 1898.
