Abul Wafa Al-Afghani was born in Qandahar on 10 Dhu al-Hijjah 1310 AH (25 June 1893 AD).
He subsequently traveled to Hyderabad, Deccan, in 1330 AH (1912) and enrolled in Madrasa Nizamia, where he graduated.
[2][5] Following graduation, Afghani was appointed as a teacher at Madrasa Nizamia, where he spent several years teaching literary Arabic, jurisprudence, and hadith.
[6] In 1948, under his supervision and with the support of his friends, he established a committee for the revival of Nu'mani sciences, Lajnat-u-Ihya al-Ma'ārif an-Nu'maniyyah, under which he published many valuable books of the Imams of the second and third centuries of Hijri.
[6][7][8][9] Abd al-Fattah Abu Ghudda, who visited him, states that "there was nothing in his house except books, manuscripts, and writings.
