Acleris notana is a species of moth of the family Tortricidae.
It is found in Iceland, Ireland, Great Britain, Spain, France, the Benelux, Germany, Denmark, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Norway, Sweden, Finland, the Baltic region, Ukraine and Russia.
The species is very variable in color and can be quite difficult to distinguish from Acleris ferrugana, which also varies widely.
In the middle of the costal edge there are often three black or dark brown spots, these can be conjoined to form a V-shaped mark.
The larvae feed on Alnus glutinosa, Betula, Fagus, Populus, Rubus and Pyrus species.
