Ada Ferrer-i-Carbonell

Ada Ferrer-i-Carbonell (born 17 November 1971 in Sabadell, Spain)[1] is a Spanish economist and professor at the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics, tenured scientist at CSIC-IAE, MOVE research fellow, and a research fellow at the IZA Institute of Labor Economics.

[2] She was an associate editor of the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization and currently is a member of the London School of Economics-based World Wellbeing Panel.

[1][5] After earning her PhD at the University of Amsterdam, she held several positions there including a VENI fellowship from the Dutch National Science Foundation.

[2] Her current interests concern individual welfare (using subjective measures of well-being) analysis, health, income, and risk attitudes.

[7][8] Her research has been featured in media outlets such as The Economist[9] and she has been interviewed on Catalan national radio,[10] and she has been the subject in the newspaper La Vanguardia.
