Adam Sabra is a historian of the Middle East at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
[1] Sabra was an undergraduate at Harvard University, where he majored in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations and specialized in Islamic Studies.
He graduated in 1990, and continued at Princeton University, receiving a master's degree in 1994 and completing his Ph.D. in 1998.
Since 2012 he has been professor and King Abdul Aziz Ibn Saud Chair in Islamic Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
