Ahmad was born on 1 March 1913 in Kalinagar, Kalkini, Madaripur, East Bengal, British Raj.
He worked form Abdul Hamid Khan Bhasani and helped the founding of Awami League.
[1] Ahmed made an amendment to the language bill in the Pakistan parliament which passed on 16 February 1956.
He was made a minister in the coalition government of Awami League and Republican Party of Firoz Khan Noon on 1958.
