Adrian Curiel

Adrian Curiel Dominguez (born January 12, 1999) is a Mexican professional boxer, who is a former International Boxing Federation (IBF) light flyweight champion, having held the title since November 2023 to February 2024.

Curiel turned professional in 2016 and compiled a record 23–4–1 before facing & defeating Sivenathi Nontshinga, to win the IBF light flyweight title.

[1][2] On February 16, 2024 in Oaxaca, Mexico, Curiel was scheduled to make the first defense of his IBF light flyweight title in the championship rematch against Sivenathi Nontshinga.

[4][5] Curiel was scheduled to face Sunny Edwards in a 12-round super flyweight bout at Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona on June 29, 2024.

[6] Edwards won the fight via technical decision with the scores 90-82, 88-84 and 87-85.
