Ai Xing (Chinese: 艾兴; 24 August 1924 – 7 April 2018) was a Chinese mechanical engineer and educator who specialized in high-speed machining (HSM) and tool materials.
Ai Xing was born 24 August 1924 in Dongxiang, Jiangxi, Republic of China.
[2][3] Ai specialized in high-speed machining and tool materials.
He developed six types of ceramics machining tools, three of which were the first of their kind in the world.
