Established on July 23, 1927, it oversees a network of schools and colleges, providing education from kindergarten to postgraduate levels.
Its notable contributions include the establishment of Akola Law College, which is affiliated with Amravati University and recognized by the Bar Council of India.
They commenced educational activities that same year with the start of the New English School, with a class size of about 20 students.
As a mark of celebration and to commemorate the occasion, it was resolved to venture into the field of higher education by setting up a five-year degree course Law College at Akola.
