Al Brooks (born February 23, 1952) is an American MD,Technical Analyst, Professional Trader, Author, Lecturer, Trading Room Presenter and Futures magazine contributor.

He taught eye surgery at Emory University before opening a practice in Los Angeles, and in Los Angeles, was on the clinical faculty of UCLA.

He worked in business for thirty years before studying medicine.

Finally, he decided to leave ophthalmology and continue working in business.
